Nine Bows: Volunteer Lunch, Saturday, April 29

The Zen Center wouldn’t run as smoothly as it does if it weren’t for a ton of wonderful volunteers – both in person and online. Since we haven’t had a volunteer lunch in a few years, we’re inviting anyone who has volunteered in the recent past for a celebratory lunch. We would love to offer you a big thank you! We hope you can join us at Arnold Park at 1 pm on April 29.
Please RSVP to Lila or by filling out this very short form. We often reach maximum capacity at these lunches, so we would very much appreciate your RSVP by Thursday, April 27.

Upcoming Sangha Hikes:

  • April 23, Niagara Falls: Three Sisters Islands. This easy, 1.8-mile hike meets in the Goat Island Parking Area in Niagara Falls, NY, at 43.0809N, 79.0707W. To carpool and save on parking fees, meet at Arnold Park at 12:30 pm. The hike will begin at 2:15.
  • April 30, Mount Hope Cemetery. This 2.5-mile hike is moderately difficult because of the elevation change. If you would like to carpool, meet at Arnold Park at 11:30; otherwise meet at 43.14N, 77.62W at 11:45.

To express interest in these or future Sangha Hikes, please complete this form.

Sangha Potluck, Sunday, April 23

Last Call: Self-Nominations, Deadline on April 23

If you have the background, energy, and interest to be part of the team leading the Rochester Zen Center through ongoing challenges and change, we hope you’ll submit a trustee self-nomination. For questions or more information, contact Center treasurer Barry Keesan.
