Youth Night in the Zendo
In the Arnold Park zendo from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 7 and 14, kids ages 10 to 15 and their parents will receive introductory instruction in zazen, kinhin, and zendo etiquette, with light snacks and refreshments served afterward in the dining room until 7:30 pm. This program is intended to help older children establish a sitting practice, with the support of their parents. If you’re interested in having your child(ren) participate, please email Chris Maley.
Our next hybrid extended sitting will be Sunday, December 11. Besides the usual sitting that runs from 8:30 to around 10:30 am, there are three other blocks of formal sitting scheduled. Private Instruction will be offered during the third block. Here is the full schedule.
