Blend together:

  • 3 Tbs tamari or soy sauce
  • 1/3 c water

Slowly add:

  • 1/2 c canola or olive oil

Then add:

  • 1/3 c tahini
  • 1 Tbs dried basil
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 Tbs honey or maple syrup or other sweetener
  • 1 Tbs lemon juice

Blend for about two minutes to prevent separation of ingredients.  Leftover dressing freezes well.

Yield:

About 1 ½ cups
