Blend together:
- 3 Tbs tamari or soy sauce
- 1/3 c water
Slowly add:
- 1/2 c canola or olive oil
Then add:
- 1/3 c tahini
- 1 Tbs dried basil
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 Tbs honey or maple syrup or other sweetener
- 1 Tbs lemon juice
Blend for about two minutes to prevent separation of ingredients. Leftover dressing freezes well.
Yield:
About 1 ½ cups
