This Sunday, September 15, John Pulleyn will give a Dharma talk after the usual morning zazen and chanting.

Book Club Also This Sunday

The book club will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. in Roshi’s library. The book to be discussed is Man’s Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl. Everyone is welcome.

Center Seeks Pickup Truck for Long-Term Relationship

Big Red, the trusty 20-year-old Ford F-250 pickup truck at Chapin Mill used for plowing snow and other truck-worthy duties, is nearing the end of its useful life. We may be able to squeeze one more winter out of it, but if you happen to know of anyone with a well-maintained pickup truck to sell or donate please contact Tom Kowal at 585-766-4739 or tmkowal75@gmail.com.

Ideally, our next truck would be OK to drive in to Rochester to clear the parking lot and street at Arnold Park after a heavy snow. If you’ve ever tried to get to a sitting after a large snowstorm, you’ve learned that the City sometimes takes a few days to get to our side of the street.
