Sangha Hike in Letchworth Park
Karen Findling will lead a hike on Monday, June 4, for everyone who’d like to join in:
We’ll meet at the Center at 9 am to carpool, or anyone who would rather drive on their own can meet us at the Glen Iris Inn parking lot at 10:20. Bring a picnic lunch. We could all hike up to the high falls and back, check out the museum and the new Nature Center, have lunch, and drive north through the park to check out overlooks and maybe do another short hike. June 18 is the rain date.
The Return of a Long-Time Member
After years of a disability that kept him pretty much house bound, Steve DeBusk is able now to re-engage at the Center. He’s written a letter reintroducing himself to the Sangha, and it’s posted on the bulletin board near the changing rooms in 7 Arnold Park.
Vegan Film at the Cinema Theater
A new film, entitled H.O.P.E. The Project: What You Eat Matters, will be screened on Sunday, June 3, at 1:00 pm at the Cinema Theater on the corner of South Goodman Street and South Clinton Avenue. The theater itself is now all-vegan, and the film will jointly support the Rochester Area Vegan Society and the Cinema Theater. Here’s a link.
