Sangha Dinner

This Saturday, March 23, at 6 pm, we’ll have a vegetarian potluck dinner at Arnold Park. Everyone, member or not, is welcome, and if you’d like to sit beforehand, the zendo is available.  Contact Devin Wiesner if you have questions: tracdev.dudley@gmail.com

Sangha Entertainment

After a one year absence, Sangha Entertainment is back – less than a month away, on Saturday evening, April 13, at 7 pm.  If you have a skit, musical performance, or any other kind of act you’d like to present to a readily beguiled audience of Sangha members, contact Cecily Fuhr at the Center (473-9180 or rzcreceptionist@gmail.com).  And if you just want to be part of that audience, save the date!

Special Seeing Through Racism meeting: Reel Bad Arabs documentary screening

In light of the recent mosque attacks in Christchurch, New Zealand, a screening of the anti-Islamophobia documentary Reel Bad Arabs will be held at 11 am in the main library of the Zen Center, 5 Arnold Park, on Sunday, March 24. The event is free and open to all interested Sangha members, and the film lasts 50 minutes. After the screening, we’ll have a brief discussion of the film and then segue into a meeting of the Seeing Through Racism group. If you’ve ever wanted to check out Seeing Through Racism’s work or get involved leading up to the next cycle of Sacred Conversations on Race, this is the perfect opportunity.
