Ralph Chapin Memorial Work Retreat!
The work retreat gets underway tonight, Tuesday, June 26, at 7:00. Please note that unlike before sesshin, there’s no dinner put out before the start; the kitchen will be too busy getting everything ready. We end on Saturday, June 30, with a special lunch at 1:00 p.m. It’s never too late to join in! If you find that you can come for all or any part of the work retreat, give Eryl a call (585-409-6497) or email her (eryl.kubicka@gmail.com).
There’s more info on the Center’s website here.
No Dokusan at Arnold Park
Because of the work retreat this week, there will be no dokusan or private instruction at Arnold Park. However, both will happen at Chapin Mill: dokusan on the evenings of Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; and private instruction on Wednesday. Also, we’ll have the usual schedule of formal sittings at Arnold Park during the work retreat.
Our CSA Is Looking for Volunteers
The leader of Wild Hill Farm (www.wildhillfarm.com), our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture – farming for members like us), injured her arm recently and can’t do any lifting for a few weeks. They’re looking for volunteers to make up the loss, and if you’d like to donate time to them it would be appreciated. You can help out Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm or 6 to 8 pm Tuesday and Wednesday. Contact erin@wildhillfarm.com.
