This Week’s CoronaCast (January 22): “New Government as Rebirth”
Finding Your Seat Today (Saturday, January 23) and New Codes
In the hopes of increasing the number of Finding-Your-Seat sessions, FYS has migrated to the Center’s second Zoom account, with a new meeting ID and Passcode:
[For meeting ID and password, contact Trueman at trueman@rzc.org.]
As a result, FYS will happen this morning, from 11:00 am to noon; it was initially cancelled because of the Introductory Workshop, but it can now proceed with these new codes.
Extended Sitting and Teisho This Sunday, January 24
The next Extended Sitting and teisho will be tomorrow, January 24. As a sort of epilogue to Saturday’s workshop, Roshi will be giving a teisho about Sangha.

United Way Seeking COVID Volunteers
United Way is in need of 20 to 50 non-medical volunteers, as well as 10 to 15 medical volunteers qualified to dispense vaccines, to cover evening shifts in the next few weeks.
As vaccine distribution ramps up, they will need hundreds of volunteers, 7 days a week, for both daytime and evening shifts. They are looking for longer-term commitments, if possible. Anyone actively working at a distribution site will qualify to get the vaccine if they want. Go to www.uwrochester.org to learn more and sign up.
