Sensei Kjolhede and volunteers split logs into firewood. Volunteers tend the pine trees planted by sangha children last year. A trainee helps with the on-going task of weeding. A trainee clears branches and weeds from the swimming area.

 
Preparations for the heating system have been put in place. A view of the basement of the new building, with heating wiring in place. Sensei Kjolhede, Ralph Chapin, and workday volunteers in front of the new building. Volunteers enjoy a pizza at the workday's end.
