    Summer...and a new space for sitting

From the orchard, the roof of the new building can be seen peeking through the tops of the trees. The Chapin Mill gardens and grounds are in full bloom now. The Mill House stands at the end of the path leading through the herb garden. Lettuce, collards, spinach, and radishes have already been harvested from the garden.
 
The juniper bushes and flag pole have been removed, leaving a clear view from the farmhouse to the pond. No sooner were the bushes removed when a snapping turtle dug a hole and laid her eggs where the junipers used to stand. At long last we are holding regular sittings in the new building... ...and Sensei is offering dokusan there as well!
