Zendo Project - October 2006

Construction works laying the joists in the east corridor at the beginning of sesshin.

By the end of sesshin, much of the framing of the building was complete.

Another view of the east side of the building, showing the basement walk-out.

Looking down on the new zendo from the hill on the west side of the site.

A freak October snow storm dumped a foot of heavy, wet snow on Chapin Mill, resulting in our having to take down the remains of one of the beautiful sycamores that are near the Mill House.

Staff and Sangha spent many hours cleaning up the damage from the storm.
