As volunteers arrived at Chapin Mill, a spectacular winter landscape greeted them. Skilled volunteer, Nhat Noen, is heading up the team that is installing doors. Maia, our kitchen designer, meets with Philip Brown, who will be building the kitchen cabinets. Donna Kowal doing some finish work on the dining room windows.

 
Installing the hardwood floor in the hallway, Amala wields the nail gun. Cindy and Helen install tatami mats on the window seats in the chair sitting room. Sensei spent the day in the attic space, improving the building's insulation. The oak floor has been laid in the chair sitting room, which is serving as our temporary zendo.
