On September 17, we held an Open House so that friends and neighbors could see the progress we've made on the building. Even the weather and the late-summer flowers favored our Open House! Looking at the 'back' of Phase One, from what will be the inner courtyard. A view from the dorm area, looking towards the dining room and kitchen.

 
The stairway between the ground and first floor dorms. Everyone has been enthusiastic about the windowseat in the commons area! The dining room, taken from the wall adjacent to the kitchen. Looking out the kitchen door to the loading dock.

 
The building, as it looked for the Open House. The cedar shingles begin to go up! John Pulleyn, Sensei, and Lou Kubicka, hard at work. The building takes on a more finished look as the shingles go up.
